Singer/Songwriter Lesley B., born Lesley Baptiste on April 26th, 1988 and raised in beautiful Miami, Fl has not only created for his self a unique path but a unique destination as well. With his dynamic vocals, distinct style, exceptional lyrics and R&B/Soul sound, it’s no doubt that Lesley B. will be destined for grea...tness. Lesley B. inspirations are Motown legend Smokey Robinson and chart topping singer/songwriter Ne-Yo. “I am moved by the stories Smokey Robinson and Ne-Yo are able to formulate through words in music and as a listener or reader you envision the story unfolding, you feel every beat that inspires each word and that is what I do” says Lesley. “Bringing R&B/Soul to new heights and lyrically transforming words into a vision.” At 9 years old Lesley B. made his first appearance on stage with a choir, but it was at age 10 that his life would change forever and never be the same. Lesley B. was given the opportunity to perform solo at his first Talent Showcase where he electrified the crowd and took home the first place title. Thereafter, he segued into a Performing Arts Program for Music to sharpen his vocal ability and stage presents. The lessons he learned throughout the program opened up many exciting doors, such as appearing in Aventura Newspaper, South Florida’s entertainment network Deco Drive on WSVN, WBFS (My33), NBC nightly news, and other networks to name a few. With everything falling into there proper places, Lesley B. released his first Holiday EP “Christmas Special” free on online digital distributor Bandcamp.com on November 25th, 2010 and released a music video for the leading song “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” to show his appreciation for all the support he has received. The “Christmas Special EP” was then followed by a local tour with appearances and shows kicking off in Banana Republic and ending at the Miami Museum of Science. Currently, Lesley B. is set to release his second EP “Rose Period” on iTunes with leading single “Blue Skies No Grey” now available.
